On behalf of the American Society for Experimental NeuroTherapeutics (ASENT), we are pleased to announce the 2010 Pipeline Program to be held at the ASENT annual meeting. This session will enable investigators in academia, government, industry and advocacy to present an update on research and development progress in a specific project in the board area of neurotherapeutics. You will have the opportunity to showcase your therapeutics development activities to a diverse audience, including potential partners, granting agencies, investors and industry analysts.
You are invited to submit one or more abstracts for consideration as oral presentations during the Pipeline Program. Clinical and preclinical projects will be considered. An online submission form and guidelines are available on the ASENT web site (www.asent.org). We anticipate that most submitted abstracts will be selected for oral presentation. Any abstracts that cannot be accommodated as oral presentations will have an opportunity to present in the poster session. The deadline for submissions is January 11, 2010.
The Pipeline Program will take place on Friday, March 5, 2010 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at the ASENT Annual Meeting to be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Bethesda, Maryland. This is the second year that ASENT will be hosting this session. By all accounts, the inaugural session last year was a great success. We anticipate another stimulating session in 2010.
Oral presenters will be permitted 6 minutes for their presentation with PowerPoint slides; an additional 4 minutes will be allotted for questions. Oral presenters are also encouraged to provide a poster of their presentation for display at the meeting, but this is not required.
Please submit your abstract using the on-line form. In addition, we would appreciate it if you would let Phil Perera know by email at pperera@aol.com that you intend to submit one or more abstracts and the general topic areas.
Finally, please let us know of any researchers who you feel would be appropriate for inclusion in the Pipeline Program. We will contact them with a personal invitation. We look forward to seeing you at the ASENT Annual Meeting!
Sincerely,
Philip Perera, MD and Michael Rogawski, MD, PhD
